Saturday was my Sister-in-laws baby shower. Her theme was Lady Bugs, o so cute. It was held at My Family Restaurant in Flint on Miller Rd. The food was excellent and the staff was very helpful. I made the invitations, center pieces and the favors in her theme. Everything went great and I think that everyone had a great time. Look in Testimonials for pics.
 
 
Saturday was a bachelorttte party that I planned. It was the first official one that I did and I think it was a huge success!! We went to Mulligans in Owosso to eat. The food was amazing!! Then we rented a party bus from All American Limos in Grand Blanc. We then went to Grand Rapids to The B.O.B (Big ol Building). There are about 7 bars/clubs in there and you only pay one cover of $5. We finally made it home about 3:30 am. It was a great time and I hope all involved had a great time!

Well, Saturday was the marriage of Nicole & Gavin! Everything went well and they are off to Aurba for 10 days of bliss!! I am so happy for them and can not wait to see pictures. Everything went smooth and I think everyone had a great time! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Kasper!!!

Well I decided to send my own wedding dress in to test out the process. I sent it in about a month ago and got it back this past Monday. I opened the box and I can not believe what I saw. My wedding dress perfectly preserved and looking beautiful as ever. I can not believe how amazing it looks. It looks as if I never even wore it. I have to admit that my dress has sat in the bag since the day that I got married. It had never been taken out for 6 years until I got it ready to be shipped. When I pulled it out, I almost cried because of the condition of it. It was kind of yellow and had some sugar stains that I thought for sure would never come out. I could not be happier with the results. The gown preservation company was amazing about keeping me informed of the status. I got an e-mail when they received it, when they processed it, and when they shipped it back out. Please contact me if you are need of getting your gown preserved. You will be glad that you did!! Plus I will personally handle the entire process so you will not need to worry about anything.
 
Wine Tasting 08/01/2009
 
Well last weekend, my girlfriends and I went to Traverse City to relax and while we were there we decided to travel up the Leelanau Pennsula to do some wine tasting. I really could not believe how much fun it could actually be. Just remember don't drink and drive! Below are the places that we went along with our favs. By the way I plan on adding to this blog post as I visit more places.

This was the first place on our stop. It is called Shady Lane Cellars. It is about a 1/4 mile off of US 22. The staff were very knowledgable and made great suggestions. (we are beginners) Our favorite wine from here is a sweet wine called; Coop de Blanc. For $5, you get 5 tastes and a cute little wine glass with their logo on it.
 
 

Referrals are my life! If you know of anyone that needs help planning an event, (any event) and you send them my way, I will give you a 10% discount on any package that I offer. I am continually looking for inspiration for center pieces. I love the idea of taking a couple of different pieces and putting them together to create something that will be both beautiful and memorable. I am also open to any new ideas or themes. I am so excited to announce that in the near future I will be offering a Gown Preservation service. I was contacted last week from a company in NY that pays for the shipping there and back. I think that this is going to be an added service that all of you will enjoy and will help reduce some more stress. What I am thinking is that the next day after the ceremony I will collect your gown and send it off to be cleaned pressed and preserved. This way you will not have to worry about anything! Lord knows there are already so many things to have to worry about. Drop me a comment and let me know what you think!
